HomeTable is committed to maintaining a trustworthy platform for consumers and licensed California MEHKO home kitchens. If you believe a food safety issue may be associated with a kitchen listed on HomeTable, you may submit a report using the form below. HomeTable will review the information received and, when appropriate, take action consistent with our platform policies and applicable law.

When Should You Submit a Report?

  • Suspected foodborne illness following a meal.
  • Food prepared or handled under unsafe conditions.
  • A listed kitchen operating without a valid permit.
  • Misleading permit or licensing information.
  • Other food safety concerns related to a HomeTable listing.

This reporting page is intended for food safety concerns related to kitchens listed on HomeTable. General customer service issues should be addressed directly with the kitchen whenever appropriate.

How Reports Are Handled

HomeTable reviews submitted food safety reports and supporting information in accordance with its platform policies and applicable law. When required by applicable law, HomeTable may disclose relevant information to the appropriate governmental or local enforcement agency. Food safety investigations, inspections, and regulatory enforcement are conducted by the appropriate governmental health agency, not by HomeTable.
